This book has been written in a style to present direct benefit  to students. The book is very simple and easy to understand for the students of D. Pharm. second year students. This book is designed to impart basic knowledge on etiopathogenesis of common diseases and their management along with quality use of medicines.

The first chapter of the book contains introductory account on Pharmacotherapeutics – Introduction, scope and objectives in detail. Each chapter consists of detailed Etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestations, non-pharmacological and pharmacological management of the diseases along with examples of suitable class of drugs. At the end of each chapter, relevant questions are added to help the readers in preparing for the examination.
