About the author :-

Padmaja is professor and head, Department of pharmacology, Fr Mullar Medical college, Mangalore, Karnataka. She has several research papers to her credit, rich experience in clinical pharmacology, conducted several clinical trials, and has also been advising clinicians on appropriate and rational use of drugs. She has a keen interest in medical education with an experience of teaching for more than 26 years, and has been on the boards of studies of many universities.

She has published many titles and this is the fourteenth book in the series of textbooks meant for medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing and physiotherapy students. This is an ideal companion to her popular textbook medical pharmacology.
