In this book, I have attempted to describe the surgical diseases in such an illustrative manner so that
any student can understand and remember the underlying pathophysiology of a disease process in a more lucid manner.
In this edition, some of the illustrations are removed and texts are added based on the current guidelines and up-to-date
informations from reliable resources. Two chapters are also added containing the do’s and don’ts in surgery, important
facts, classifications, etc.
UG students can also follow this book as reference towards building their concept. I hope that the book will be more
of a guidebook for facing examinations as well as real clinical scenarios in everyday practice.
Wish you a happy journey
