The basics of radiological physics is incorporated within the confines of this small book. There is no dearth of good books on the subject, but most of these are big, difficult to grasp, costly and not easily available in market. Moreover there is paucity of shorter book useful for the students aspiring for an examination. The notes of this small ventures were prepared when the authors were preparing themselves for their FRCR part 1 examination. it will fulfill this purpose very well. It will be equally useful for DRD, DMRD and MD students. Every effort has been taken to prepare a palatable capsule, extractable in the examination hall in the fullest possible extent.

In this edition a chapter on ‘ Radiological Artifacts’ has been incorporated to make the book more useful for the students.
