Dr Niraj Pandit is a Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at SBKS MIRC, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Piparia, Vadodara. He received his MBBS degree from Pramukh Swami Medical College, Karamsad, in 1997 and his MD degree in Community Medicine (Preventive and Social Medicine) from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, in 2001. He has been a faculty member at SBKS MIRC, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth since 2009 and has held various positions, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and now Professor and Head. He is also serving as Director, Institutional Social Responsibility Cell of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth. Dr. Pandit’s research interests include community health, epidemiology, and health promotion. He has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at national and international conferences. He has also written textbooks for physiotherapy and pharmacy students. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Indian Public Health Association, Indian Medical Association, and the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine.
